CONCERT SUMMERY:
For those of you who missed this show, let me just say that it was absolutely incredible! It was great to see so many people come out to the show and show their support for Level 27 Clothing, Gold Mind Squad, and tHrOnE. Since I was there hanging out with the guys in tHrOnE, Steve, and Billy I decided to do a little write-up of stuff that went on at the concert for those of you who might have missed it (shame on you). I got a chance to meet the guys in Gold Mind Squad and not only did they sound awesome, but they are real down to earth, cool guys. But I'm getting ahead of myself already. I should start from the beginning...

The night started out with some cool bands that American University added to the bill to open the show. During this time Billy arrived and went straight to the Level 27 Clothing merch area where he greeted the fans, posed for pictures, and signed autographs. Around 9PM tHrOnE took the stage and even though I have worked for them for about 4 years now every time I see them play it's like seeing them for the first time and I fall in love with their music more and more each time. As their set came to an end Billy came on stage to play "Freakin' Out" which was the last song of their set. The crowd went even more crazy when Billy took the stage. Up next were the hometown boys of Gold Mind Squad. I heard a lot of great things about these guys from Steve so I was really excited to see/hear them. They took the stage around 10PM and they rocked out hard and their vocalist had one hell of a range. The whole band sounded tight and just simply put - awesome!! All I can say is if you haven't had the chance to hear them or see them live, I highly suggest you do so as soon as possible. Check them out on the web at www.GoldMindSquad.com.

After the show was over I was one tired OwL BoY. Since we traveled from out of state we stayed the night in D.C., played some video games, ate some pizza, some cinnamon dots (I freakin' love those things), watched some DVDs, and played with a turtle. It was an 8 hour trip down to D.C. but it was obviously well worth the trip. We all had a blast!! Next time Level 27 Clothing puts on a concert like this be sure to do everything in your power to get there. You won't be disappointed. ROCK ON!!!
